Certificate III in Fitness (Group Exercise Instructor)Australian Fitness Academy has launched the Certificate III in Fitness (Group Exercise Instructor) to accompany the Gym Instructor and Aqua Instructor courses.
The AFA Group Exercise module provides the qualification to become a nationally recognised Group Exercise Instructor. You have the option of completing the Certificate III in Fitness specifically in Group Exercise Instruction or you can complete the group exercise module in addition to your gym specific qualification.
The group exercise module is delievered face-to-face within Victoria only.

Face-to-face learningFace-to-face study involves attending classes at the Academy in Caulfield, Melbourne. Studying face-to face-includes both theory and practical sessions utilising the Academy's on-site state of the art Training Centre.
This course can be studied both full-time, and part-time:
Additional practical sessions are offered for both full-time and part-time students on Fridays from 9am - 1pm.
Government FundedAustralian Fitness Academy is approved to deliver government subsidised training within Victoria via the Victorian Training Guarantee. If you are eligible you can study the Certificate III in Fitness with help from the Victorian and Commonwealth governments. Government funded courses are available face to face and fully online.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)Australian Fitness Academy's RPL process offers prospective students a potentially quicker way to obtain the Certificate III and IV in Fitness qualifications. Undertaking the RPL process allows applicants to use their past qualifications and work related experience in order to match the current unit of competencies that make up a Certificate III and IV in Fitness. Upon review of an RPL application, prospective students will be informed as to exactly what modules (if any) they need to complete in order to obtain their qualifications.
