Mon to Thur: 3.30pm – 7.30pm
Fortnight Saturday: 7.30am – 9.30am
Overview of Position
360 Strength and Performance is a high performance training facility on the Northern Beaches, delivering a range of strength and performance services to the surrounding athletic community. The strength and conditioning (S&C) coach is responsible for developing and coaching strength and conditioning programs for all athletes and individuals, with the three major goals of improving athletic performance, reducing injuries, and teaching lifelong movement skills. The role also includes making contact and building relationships with the local community and its clubs. The S&C coach will ensure the professionalism of the gym to maintain a safe and high quality training experience for all members and prospects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and implement strength training and conditioning programs specific to each athlete and/ or individual via the use of Teambuilr software
- Initiate and build collaborative relationships with the local community and surrounding businesses
- Initiate and drive collaborative relationships among sport coaches and allied health professionals in the local community
- Take full responsibility for the youth development program from concept of training to deliverance. This includes program development, itinerary, marketing, finding support staff if necessary, etc.
- Ensure deadlines are met for youth development program
- Meet monthly targets
- Conduct movement assessments on prospective clients and sign up via clubfit
- Conduct performance assessments on prospective athletes and teams/clubs
- Following up on prospective clients/ clubs within 3 days of meeting
- Ensure gym is clean and equipment packed away. This includes ensuring anything that needs to be cleared (e.g. bins), stocked (e.g. fridge) or topped up (e.g. sanitizer bottles) is completed
- Ensure amenities (bathrooms, kitchen and office) is tidy and stocked
- Attend weekly team meeting on Monday morning (30 minutes)
- Attend fortnightly upskill meeting (60 minutes)
- Maintain a high level customer service experience
- Deadlines for programming must be met for each client
- Ensure you adhere to pricing guidelines when signing new members/ teams/ clubs
- The use of the Asana are mandatory to your role. The correct usage and filling out of these systems are required on a weekly basis. All deadlines within these systems assigned to you must be met.

Must Have:
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Working with Children Check
- Cert III and IV in fitness
- ASCA Certification (Desirable)
- Bachelors in Sport Science or Human Movement (Desirable)
- Minimum 2 years coaching experience in strength and performance industry
- Public Liability and Indemnity Insurance with Guild
- Australian resident or citizen
