Active Monash has job placement opportunities available for AFA students currently completing either the Certificate III in Fitness or Certificate IV in Fitness, or both.
Active Monash comprises 3 centres within the Monash Municipality; Monash Aquatic and Recreation Centre, Clayton Aquatics and Health Club and Oakleigh Recreation Centre; however this centre is currently closed.
We have a team of 20 employed Personal Trainers who work across our sites, delivering over 900 Personal Training sessions every month, as well as hundreds of group fitness classes.
During placement, you would be able to complete all tasks our current staff perform such as; initial consultations, programs demonstrations, walking the gym floor and shadowing Personal Training sessions.
Once you have completed your course, you will have the opportunity to secure a job interview, with a direct opportunity to be employed as a casual Personal Trainer with Active Monash.
